Peninsular Malaysia

After more world class diving in sipadan and finishing up the divemaster, We Flew to JB, peninsular Malaysia and crossed the border into Singapore…

Very Modern city, nice neighborhoods (little India, Chinatown, kampong glam, shoppingmecca orchard road), great food, skyscrapers… a very lively and buzzing city. S is amazingly clean and very expensive (like Europe) except for all the latest electronic equipment … so we bought a new digital camera with big zoom lenses and accessories. Aiaiaia there goes our budget!

so after 3 nights time to go back into Malaysia… Bus to Mersing and then boat to Tioman, a paradise island… gorgeous white sand beach, tropical water, palm trees, fresh seafood BBQ, bungalow on the beach… perfect spot for Laura’s birthday. Very nice people here. we spend al lot of our time with 5 great guys from Barcelona (on Lorenzo's request, i`ll put a picture with their contactdetails with the next pics;-))

We stayed there 6 days lazing on the beach, snorkeling, diving, reading, beachvolleballing and REAXING….

today we took the boat back to the mainland and we heared there that all the buses to kota bharu (9h up north, near the border with thailand) were fully booked. so we hopped on a bus to another town, Kuantan, 3h north and from here we can take the bus to KB at midnight ... so within 12h will be lazing on the Perhentians , Malaysia most beautiful islands, for another week or so coz the wheater on the eastcoast is great at the moment...

I’ll write the borneo tales (pics are already uploaded) some other time...
Take care and enjoy!!

And a big thanks for all the phonecalls, messages and mails for my birthday!
